Self Care Challenge

You hear the cliche saying more commonly than not, engage in self care activities. What is Self-Care? It is the ability to actively and intentionally spend time with yourself doing activities that you enjoy. Self-care is very simple, most people have a tendency to complicate the process. Self care can be as simple as not answering the phone for an overly dramatic friend, because you know if you answer the phone, the conversation will completely shift your mood. Protect yourself, drink your water, mind your business, exercise, rest, take your bath, light your candles, take a day and don’t get out of the bed until later that usual; whatever your self care thing is, DO IT! Let’s normalize getting back to take care of and prioritizing ourselves.
